MY NAME IS REBEKKA HUOMO,
I am a visual artist based in photography and multimedia. I have a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication - the majority in photography. My work in has been focused on creating engaging narratives and emotionally affecting visual dimensions.
My projects often blend analog and digital media, delving into themes of identity, nature and emotional introspection. During my studies, I developed a broad interest in the field of culture and everything related to it, such as exhibition management and event organization. I have worked with photography and to some extent graphic design, as well as being involved in planning and constructing various exhibitions.
A friend of mine once said that whatever I do, it’s always a full on visual journey through different senses. It made me happy. I like to evoke.
